Here comes the sun is my Bachelor Graduation Knitwear Collection, designed during the first 2020 quarantine.
The first inspiration for my project was Mary quant, symbol of the London of the late 50s, early 60s, where a youthquake overthrew the corsets to create a new aesthetic of energy and joy. The second inspiration was Laura Letinsky is a Canadian artist, who concentrates on still-life photography, focusing on un-laid tables, dirty dishes, ripped pieces of paper, all in an apparent caos and carelessness.
I combined these two aesthetics to bring forwards a new fashion approach in this post pandemic world.
